Abstract
The review of the literature on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) Prevention
was carried out by a multidisciplinary team using a Cochrane-style systematic review
methodology. A key component of the review was the double-blind reading by two
independent reviewers of all documents identified in a broad scope literature search. The
objective of this methodological approach was to create a comprehensive context through
which policy and practice can be informed and developed from a sound evidence base.
