Abstract
An editorial that promotes research on therapy and rehabilitation for behavioral addictions. Addiction has become a worldwide problem, spreading beyond drugs and alcohol to encompass behaviors such as eating, gambling and shopping. An interdisciplinary approach is critical for understanding the wide scope of addictions and the processes of recovery and rehabilitation.
